The OMS 2 is a distance measurement device for long-range applications. It is available in either a 120m range or a 170m range and has a protection rating of IP65. Also, it comes in a wide variety of interfaces like Device Net, Profibus, Interbus and Can Open. Applications for this device include measuring the position of a crane or trolley and measuring the position of forklifts in high bay warehouses.
