Areas of application

The MSI-MI Modular Safety Interface unit is approved as a Category 4 Presence Sensing Device Initiators (PSDI) with built in muting for Opto-Electronic Safety Devices. The MSI-M is capable of accepting two muting inputs (parallel muting) and also monitors its own muting indication lamps and offers a warning output if one should fail. The PSDI function allows the Safety Light Curtain to be implemented into Single Break, Double Break machine initiators.
